Julien Epaillard wins clash of the Eiffel Tower in Global Champions Tour




French rider Julien Epaillard said thanks to his "insane great" youthful stallion after the combine won the Paris leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour for the world's top show jumpers.

Epaillard and his steed, French-reared stallion Usual Suspect D'auge, won a three-horse bounce off more than eight fences in 40.67 seconds on the Champ de Mars, against the scenery of the Eiffel Tower.

"It's stunning, here in Paris, in this unique place, it is quite recently incredible," Epaillard, 39, said in a broadcast meet subsequent to seeing a high-chance ride being remunerated with triumph on home soil.
